Eleanor Anastasi, 85, of North Tonawanda, on June 8, 2007 at DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a long illness.  Eleanor was a member of Ascension R.C. Church.  Eleanor and her parents owned and operated the family grocery store on Oliver Street, in North Tonawanda, until her retirement 1976.  She was born in Italy and raised in North Tonawanda.  Beloved daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Giacco) Anastasi.

Dearest  sister of Rose Marie Anastasi.  Also survived by the cousins of the Anastasi and Giacco families. 

Friends received by the family on Sunday 7-9 p.m. and Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Brunner Funeral Home (692-3841) , 156 Robinson Street, North Tonawanda, where services will be held on Tuesday morning at 9:30 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 at Ascension R.C. Church.
