Anastasi, Joseph L., 76, of North Tonawanda, suddenly, on Friday January 5, 2007 at Buffalo General Hospital. Born in North Tonawanda, he was the son of the late Louis and Clementine (nee Pepe) Anastasi. Father of the late Lenora Marie Anastasi. Brother of the late Russell Anastasi. Together, his parents and brothers operated Louis Restaurant in North Tonawanda. Joseph was a member of Ascension R.C. Church and he retired from Niagara Falls Memorial Hospital. He is a Korean Conflict Veteran who served in the U.S. Army.
Beloved husband of 45 years of Margaret A. (nee Sparks) of North Tonawanda. Loving father of Liza J. (Thomas) Pane of Clarence and Loraine M. (Richard) Angelo of Cambria. Dear brother of Frank (Joyce) Anastasi of North Tonawanda. Proud Papa of Krystina, Peter and Amanda Pane and Tyler and Victoria Angelo. Cousin of Eleanor and Rosemarie Anastasi. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends received by the family on Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Brunner Funeral Home (692-3841), 156 Robinson St., North Tonawanda where services will be held on Wednesday morning at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Ascension R.C. Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
