Maureen Ann Burton, (nee Carthy) 71, formerly of North Tonawanda, Fort Worth, TX and Holmdel, NJ on August 10, 2006 in Holmdel.  Maureen worked as an international  Ice Skating Professional both in the United States and Canada.  She was the creator of North Tonawanda’s Bicentennial Ice Show in 1976 called America On Ice. 

Beloved wife of George C. Burton of Forth Worth, TX.  Loving mother of Cheryl Ann White-Angel of CA, Daniel James White of Dallas, TX Michael Francis (Monica) White of New Jersey and  Jeffrey Carthy of North Tonawanda.  Dear sister of Delia (Peter) Lundsgren of St. Catharines, Ontario.  Sister-in-law of Ann Carthy of Toronto.  Proud grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. 

Friends received by the family on Thursday 4-6 p.m. at the Brunner Funeral Home, 156 Robinson Street, North Tonawanda, where services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
