Castiglione, Gemma A. (nee Valentine) 83, of North Tonawanda on Friday (December 3, 2004) at DeGraff Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Gemma was a member of Ascension R.C. Church and the Renaissance Club. She retired from Spaulding Fibre. Wife of the late Leo Castiglione. Sister of the late Pat and Sam Valentine and Sarah Stover and Frances Valentine.

Beloved mother of Carmen (Kitty) Castiglione of Depew and Leo (Patty) Castiglione of North Tonawanda. Proud grandmother of Scott (Kim) Castiglione of Lancaster, Christian Castiglione of Amherst, Mandy Castiglione of Depew and Sarah and Gina Castiglione both of North Tonawanda. Great grandmother of Maxwell and Makenzie both of Lancaster. Loving sister of Jenny (the late Anthony) Petraitis, Louis (Julie) Valentine, Viola (the late Adam) Kokoska, Joseph (Betty) Valentine and Antoinette Valentine. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends received by the family on Sunday 2-5 and 7-9 PM at the Brunner Funeral Home, 156 Robinson Street, North Tonawanda, where services will be held on Monday morning at 9:00 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Ascension R.C. Church at 9:30. Entombment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family requests that memorials be made to Niagara Hospice, Inc.
