Kathleen Goodwin, 67, of North Tonawanda passed away on Thursday (September 9, 2004) at her residence under the care of her family and Niagara Hospice. Kathleen had just retired from the North Tonawanda Public School System as a Teachers Aid. She war born in Olean and graduated from Olean High School in 1954. She attended St Bonaventure University and Bryant and Stratton College. She was the sister of the late Laighton Hassett.

Beloved mother of Steven Goodwin of North Tonawanda. Pamela (Vaughn) Patterson of Mississippi, Bonnie (Bill) Holler of Indiana and Sally (Todd) Pinho of Massachusetts. Dear sister of Patricia Jones of Olean, Timothy (Judy) Hassett and Maureen (James) Gattuso both of Rochester. Proud grandmother of eight grandchildren. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends received by the family on Sunday afternoon at 12:00 at the Brunner Funeral Home, 156 Robinson Street, North Tonawanda (716-692-3841) where services will be held at 1:00. The Rev. Jerre Fegin, officiating. The family has asked that memorials be made to Niagara Hospice, Inc.
