Donald L. Hunt, 62, of North Tonawanda, died on Saturday September 8, 2007 at Niagara Hospice, Inc. in Lockport.  Donald retired as a Detective from the Buffalo Police Department.  After his retirement, he moved to Las Vegas where he was an avid golfer. 

Beloved son of Stella (nee Colombo) (the late Leslie) Hunt of North Tonawanda.  Dear brother of Diane (Keith) Bell and Patricia Brock all of North Tonawanda.  Loving father of Steven  and Christopher (Kirstie) Hunt of Grand Island, Gregory (Cindy Cronin) of Ft. Lauderdale and Katherine Hunt of Buffalo.  Proud grandfather of Mitchell, Stephanie, Alicia and Tyler Hunt.  Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends received by the family on Monday  2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Brunner Funeral Home (692-3841) 156 Robinson Street, North Tonawanda where services will be held on Tuesday morning at 10:30 a.m.  Interment will be private.  Memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice, Inc.
