Klahn,  Edward F. 79, of North Tonawanda on Tuesday, August 16, 2005 at his residence after a long illness.  Edward worked until his retirement with his brother as an installer for Klahn Supply Company in Getzville.  Edward enjoyed fishing and hunting.  He started driving, and was a chauffer, at age 14 for a wealthy family in Sheffield, MA.

Beloved husband for 52 years of Joan (nee Lazell) Klahn of North Tonawanda.   Loving father of Mark (Cynthia) Klahn of  Bayport, NY.  Dear brother of William (Virgean) Klahn, Jr. of Williamsville and Richard (Carol) Klahn of Ellicott City, MD.  Proud and beaming grandfather of Katherine and Krystie Klahn.  Dear brother-in-law of Betty (James) Chinchen of East Otto, NY. 

Friends received by the family on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Brunner Funeral Home, 156 Robinson St., North Tonawanda where services will be held at  8:30 that evening.  The family asks that donations in Edward’s memory be made to Niagara Hospice, Inc.
