Howard C. McCoy, 84, on Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at Mt. View Health Care Facility after a long illness.  Howard was born in Ebensburg, PA and moved to Western New York the early 1950’s.  He worked for Clover Farms and then for Harrison Radiator in Lockport.   He moved to North Tonawanda in 1962.  Howard was a member of Ascension R.C. Church and was a WWII U.S. Navy Veteran.  He was a member of VFW Post 264 in Tonawanda.  Beloved husband of the late Rita (nee Illig) McCoy and father of the late John McCoy.  Brother of the late John Robert McCoy.

Beloved father of Anne (Jon) Goodman of McKinney, TX, James (Susan) McCoy of Lockport, Constance (Bud Lewis) McCoy of Central, SC, Mary (Michael) Ford of Thorold, Ontario, Kevin (Tina) McCoy and Pamela (Michael) Buckley both of Pickens, SC.   Proud grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.  Dear brother of Marie Anderson of St. Paul, NB, Grace Kane  and Richard (Roberta) McCoy both of Ebensburg, PA and Paul (Susan) McCoy of Roswell, GA. 

Friends received by the family on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Brunner Funeral Home (692-3841) 156 Robinson Street, North Tonawanda where services will be held on Monday morning at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Ascension R.C. 168 Robinson Street, North Tonawanda.  Interment with Military Honors will follow at Elmlawn Cemetery.
