Josephine R. Oliverio, (nee Valenti) 87, of North Tonawanda on Saturday January 14, 2006.  Josephine was a member of Ascension R.C. Church and  the worked as a volunteer for Meals-On-Wheels in North Tonawanda.  Wife of the late Samuel Oliverio.  Daughter of  the late Vincenzo Valenti and Rosaria (nee Ognibene) Valenti.  Sister of the late Sam, Louis, Charles and Nash Valenti and Grace Willard and Klara Valenti.   

Beloved mother of Joseph (the late Elaine) Oliverio of Amherst and James (Rosalie) Oliverio of North Tonawanda.  Grandmother of Shelley A. (Peter) Witt, Joseph G. (Ann Marie) Oliverio, Lisa A. (Kelly) Murray and James S. Oliverio, II.   Great great-grandmother of  Jonathan and Maria Witt, Kelsey and Emily Oliverio and Christopher and Brandi Davis Murray. Sister of the late Sam, Louis, Charles and Nash Valenti and Grace Willard and Klara Valenti.   Also survived by several nieces and nephews.   

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday January 18, 2006 at 9:30 a.m. at Ascension R. C. Church, 168 Robinson Street in North Tonawanda.  Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.  Memorials be made to Meals-on-Wheels in North Tonawanda or Niagara Hospice, Inc.
