Joan Marie Phillips, (nee Martin) 74, of North Tonawanda on Friday (December 31, 2004) at home. Wife of the late Charles M. Phillips, Sr. Dear mother of Kathleen (Donald) Mallery, Charles (Eva) M. Phillips, Jr., Frances E. Phillips, Susan (Gary) Oelkers, Margery (Randy) Smith, Margaret “Peggy” (Michael) Corraine, Michael (Theresa M.) Phillips, Thomas Phillips, David (Susan) Phillips and Laura (Kevin) Hamett. Sister of Betty Lockhart, Mary (Thomas) Weherfritz, Charles (Kathleen) Martin and George (Ann) Martin. Dear grandmother of 20 grandchildren. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Monday 7-9 and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Brunner Funeral Home, 156 Robinson St., North Tonawanda, where services will be held on Wednesday morning at 9:00 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family has asked that memorials be made to Ascension R.C. Church Building Fund.

Joan retired from DeGraff Memorial Hospital where she worked in the Business Office. She was a lifelong member of St. Albert the Great Rosary Guild.
