The Brunner Funeral Home was established 1947 by William Brunner, Jr. when he returned from service in the U.S. Army after World War II. He attended Simmons School of Embalming and Mortuary Science in Syracuse, NY. The family business was run from the living quarters upstairs, with Bill's wife Donna taking an active part in the family business and raising three children and two French Poodles This was a family home and our family welcomed the community into their home to serve them at one of the most difficult times of their lives. |

| Bill Brunner ran the funeral home for almost 40 years. He passed on in 1989 and his son Mark came into the family business. Like Bill, Mark was in the service, serving in the U.S. Navy for four years after high school and attended The Simmons School of Mortuary Science to obtain his funeral directors license. Mark married Pam (Uhrin) in 1981 and together they have worked at the funeral home with a sincere love for the funeral service and helping others in their time of need. Like his father and mother before them, they have worked as a team to provide service for the families that called upon them. They both know that the last memories last forever and work hard to insure that every family walks away knowing that they were served by professional caring people. |
