Albert C. Gielow

Albert C. Gielow of North Tonawanda, March 18, 2013, peacefully at Northgate Health Care Facility, where he was receiving rehabilitation after a mild stroke. He was 94.
Albert worked for many years for Wood & Brooks Company and retired from Frontier Insulation Contractors. He was a classic car enthusiast, enjoyed boating and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Beloved husband of the late Rose (Smith) and father of Beverly (the late William) White of Fountain Valley, California; and the late Dennis (Linda) Gielow of North Tonawanda, NY. Proud grandfather of Tammy White of Huntington Beach, California; Michelle (Blake) Reeves of Unionville, Ontario; Jennifer (Paul) Kooney of Croton-on-Hudson, NY; Jason (Renee) Gielow of Lockport, NY; and the late Tiffany White Dobbs. Dear great-grandfather of Carter, Jonah, Colin, Jack, Lydia, Ava, Ella, and Kenneth. Son of the late Frederick and the late Clara (Everett) Gielow. Brother of Eleanor “Honey” (Evan) Yearwood of San Marcos, TX; the late Herbert (the late Gertrude); the late Dorothy (the late James) Tucker; the late Irene (the late Herbert) Hambleton; and the late Norman.
