Anthony V. Niezgoda

Anthony V. Niezgoda age 90, of North Tonawanda, died on Friday, October 30, 2015 after a brief illness. He was the loving Husband of 66 years to Angeline (nee Trojanczyk) Niezgoda; cherished father of Michael (Cindy) Niezgoda, Thomas (Mary) Niezgoda, Kathleen (Richard) Emanuelson, and MaryEllen (Michael) Manuszewski; beloved brother of Lottie Winn and the late Bernice Piech; proud grandfather of Kelly (Michael) Anthony, Jillian (Jonathan) Hussar, Emily Niezgoda, Robin Niezgoda, Kristin Emanuelson, Steven Emanuelson, Karin Emanuelson, Eric Manuszewski, Julia Manuszewski, and Zachary Manuszewski; great grandfather of Madison and Jack Anthony, and Savannah Hussar.
Friends received by the family on Wednesday 4-8pm at the Brunner Funeral Home, (692-3841) 156 Robinson St., N. Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday morning at 10:00 am at St. Jude the Apostle RC Church, 800 Niagara Falls Blvd., N. Tonawanda.
Anthony was a WWII U.S. Army Air Corps Veteran and a member of St. Jude the Apostle RC Church. He had worked at Dunlop Tire and Rubber for more than 40 years when he retired in 1987. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, bowling, and was an avid golfer with the Renaissance Club. Tony especially loved spending quality time with his family, and will always be remembered for sharing his whimsy and love of life with all of us.
