Cecilia Alt

Cecilia M. Alt (nee Burkard) age 88, of North Tonawanda on Thursday (February 19, 2009) at DeGraff Skilled Nursing Facility after a long illness. Cecilia was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Parish. Cecilia retired from A.M. & A.’s in North Town Plaza and the University Plaza. Wife of the late Joseph Alt, Sr. Grandmother of the late Timothy Alt. Sister of the late Martin, Andrew, Mildred and Elizabeth.

Beloved mother of Joseph (Donna) Alt, Jr. of North Tonawanda. Grandmother of Joseph J. Alt., Laura (Scott) Licht of Newfane, Dawn (John) Davis of Niagara Falls, Joette (Travis) Revels and April (Timothy) Cain both of Florida. Great-grandmother of Robbie Tasner, Jay Davis, Jacob Licht, Madeline Revels and Danielle Cain. Friends received by the family on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Brunner Funeral Home (692-3841), 156 Robinson Street, North Tonawanda where services will be held Monday morning at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St Jude the Apostle Parish (800 Niagara Falls Blvd.) at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Elmlawn Cemetery.
