David R. Stivers

David Randall Stivers, 66, of Cedar City, UT formerly of Niagara Falls and North Tonawanda on Thursday August 1, 2013 in Cedar City. David was an active member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church where he was on the vestry and taught Sunday School. He was a Eucharistic Minister and member of the St. Mark’s Men’s Club. He was a graduate from Bishop Duffy High School in Niagara Falls and Niagara University with a degree in Transportation and Tourism. He worked at several hotels in the Niagara Falls area and then worked as a Letter Carrier for the Tonawanda Post Office. Son of the late David Earl and Marie (nee Anderson).
David was the love and life Nada L. (nee Kopec) Stivers of Cedar City, Utah. Loving and proud father of David Jonathan Stivers of Oklahoma City and Lauren Krista Dionisio of Las Vegas. Dear brother of Mitchell Robert Stivers of Lewiston. Dear son-in-law of Frances Kopec also of Cedar City, UT.
Friends received by the family on Friday from 5-8 PM at the Brunner Funeral Home, 156 Robinson St., North Tonawanda. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday morning at 10:00 at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 91 Payne Avenue, North Tonawanda .
