Dominic J. Demart

Dominic J. DeMart, “Dom” age 95, of North Tonawanda on Monday February 11, 2013 after a brief illness. Dominic was a member of the former Ascension Church. He worked for the Wurlitzer Company where he was a Technician. He also worked for the City of North Tonawanda in office and business support. In earlier years, he was a Professional Barber. His memberships include the Post 264 American Legion, Life Member of the Live Hose #4, Life member of the Amvets, Dom Polski, The Renniassance Club and the Ascension Church Bereavement Team. Dom was an employee of Mr. and Mrs. Catering Service. Son of the late Angelo and Maria DeMart. Husband of the late Clara “Nellie” DeMart. Brother of the late Rose Miano, Frank DeMart, Grace Maiolo, Joseph DeMart, Michael DeMart and Alfred DeMart.
Beloved father of Mary Ann (Jack) Cohen of Henderson, NV and Joseph (Linda) DeMart of Cranberry Lake, NY. Proud grandfather “Nono”of David (Brenda Hilton) Cohen, John (Tracey) Cohen, Christine (Andy) Woodring, Joseph (Meredith) DeMart. Great-great grandfather of Emma Hope Woodring. Dear brother of Eugenia (Joseph) Falzone, Violet (the late Frank) DiVincenzo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 14, 2013. Entombment with Military Honors will follow at Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
