Rita A Grapes

Grapes, Rita (nee Netter) age 98, passed away peacefully after a short illness, on Monday, March 20, 2017 in DeGraff Hospital. She was born on December 30, 1918 in Tonawanda, NY.
Devoted wife of the late Edward Grapes. Rita was a loving mother to Gail A. (late Donald) Fitzgerald of Clayton, CA., Kathleen M. (late Jerome) Bonk, of North Tonawanda, NY., John E. Grapes of Nashville TN., and Colleen S. (Richard) Goidel of Atlanta, GA. Rita was predeceased by her daughter Sandra J. (late Michael) Ryan. She was an adoring grandmother, great grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Rita is also survived by many nieces and nephews and a very caring friend Pearl Glick.

Rita enjoyed traveling with her husband in their RV to many different places; she was a fabulous cook and baker, she enjoyed dancing and loving her cat Evita.
