Theresa L. Huey (Nee Stauffer) age 80 of Tonawanda entered into eternal rest surrounded by her family on Thursday October 22, 2015. Theresa was a sweetheart born on Valentines Day in 1935 to Charles Howard and Clotilda Mary (nee Ells) Stauffer. Wife for 38 years of the late Alfred D. Huey. She was blessed in life with six loving children, Richard (Bonnie), Donna Zajdel, Sherri (William) Halik, Michael (Gloria Adams), the late Lori Huey, Lisa Huey and Asunta Paetz. Sister of Francis (Karen) Stauffer, Hayden Waite and the late Mary Kammerdeiner. Proud grandmother of John Konstanty IV, Shaun (Christine Opera) Ford, Amber Adams, Anitra Huey (Seth), the late Lindsay O’Keefe (Sean), Ryan Zajdel, Heather, Lauren and Eric Dean and Leslie Bovenza. Great-granmother of Tyler, Amelia, John V., Dominic, Max, Abigail, Alexa and Natalie. Dearest friend for 57 years of Lucy Penrod. Theresa was a very close friend of Dr.Thomas Small who managed her pain with loving care.

Friends received on Saturday from 2-7 P.M. at the Brunner Funeral Home, (692-3841) 156 Robinson St., North Tonawanda. Services will be on Sunday at 1:00 P.M. Inturment at Elmlawn Cemetery will be private.

Born in West Valley, she attended St. John the Baptist School and West Valley High School. Theresa retired from DeGraff Memorial Hospital’s Special Care Unit where she was a Ward Clerk for 15 years. She loved life and will always be remembered for her love of Christmas. Her retirement was spent reading True Crime novels, studying and charting Astrology, listening to Country Music and participating in family functions. Theresa was Jeapordy’s number one fan; she always saw the best in people. In lieu of flowers, send candy.
