Bridget A. (nee Matuszak) Schuh, age 47, a native of North Tonawanda and resident of Cheektowaga, passed away on Monday (January 6, 2014) at Buffalo General Hospital after a six-year battle with breast cancer.
Bridget was the devoted mother of Elise (Joe), Alex, and Jacob Harvey, beloved wife of Thomas Schuh, and stepmother to Brian Schuh. Bridget loved her siblings Robin (John) Miranda, Susan Smith, Brian (Brunilde) Matuszak, and Randy (Crystal) Matuszak. She was a proud aunt to Tarifa (Joseph), Brian (Lina), Elizabeth, Karen, Christopher, Michael and Cameron. She was predeceased by her mother Janet (nee Markovitz) Matuszak and her father Anthony Matuszak.
Bridget enjoyed live music, any beach, and Thai food. People who knew Bridget appreciated her bravery and strength, as she always maintained an amazingly upbeat and positive attitude despite the challenges she faced with her illness. She lived her life with grace and beauty, impacted everyone with whom she came in contact, and will be missed by countless friends.
Bridget was proud to be a member of the Wheatfield Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. A memorial program will be held on Saturday, January 11 at 2:00 p.m. at: The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 7375 Nash Road, North Tonawanda. All friends are welcomed to attend.
