Carol Marie Dawes

Carol Marie Dawes, (nee Kugel) age 80, of North Tonawanda, NY, passed away on February 29, 2024 after a lengthy illness.  Carol is survived by her husband Michael of 57 years. Loving mother of Colleen (Robert) Lekki, Charles (Jill) Dawes and Sharon (Walt) Krzystek.   Grandmother to Christina Lekki, Louis Dawes, Colin and Kaitlyn Krzystek.

She was the loving daughter of the late William and Lorraine Kugel.  Sister of Kathleen (late Richard) Busch and the late Marilyn (Loran) Greenslet, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Carol was a devout Catholic. She loved to paint, do needlepoint, ceramics and crochet.  She loved going for rides and listening to music – especially Elvis.  She was a great cook and loved to bake.

Friends received by the family on Sunday March 3^rd from 4pm to 8pm at the Brunner Funeral Home, 156 Robinson St., North Tonawanda.  A mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, March 4^th at 9:30am at St Jude the Apostle, 800 Niagara Falls Blvd, North Tonawanda. Interment will follow at Mt Olivet Cemetery.
