Charles G. Donelson

Charles G. Donelson, 74, of North Tonawanda, died suddenly on April 10, 2026. Husband of Melanie (nee Bulgreen) Donelson. Loving father of Charles (Shannon) Donelson, Jr., Paul (Kim) Donelson, Amber (Cortney Sevenski) Sevenski, Stephen Donelson, Andrew Donelson, Christina (Tosha Montgomery-Evans) Montgomery-Evans, Shaun Evans. Brother of Terry Donelson and Sharon Meyers. Also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Fur father of Angel.

A celebration of life will be held at the Donelson Home. We warmly welcome friends and family to drop in, share memories and offer condolences to Melanie and their children. Please join them on Friday April 17, 2026 from 3-7 p.m. at 1018 Sweeney Street, North Tonawanda. Chuck was an organ donor and memorial offerings may be made to ConnectLife.

Charles owned CGD Construction Co. for over 40 years. In his retirement years, he worked at Auto Zone and 7-11 as a manager. Charles was a leader wherever he went. He lit up the room with his smile and his eyes. He took a lot of pride in his home and his yard. He was Mr. Melanie to many of his wife’s friends. He always took pride in everything that he did, yet he was still humble. He was a great husband and father and will be missed by all who knew him.
