Gerald J. Poleon

Gerald J. Poleon, 84, of Getzville, died on September 7, 2026 surrounded by his family. Husband of the late Marcia Poleon (nee Miner). Loving father of Kathleen E. (Thomas Miller) Poleon, Brian G. Poleon and Norris M. (Katie) Poleon and the late Bruce G. Poleon. Proud grandfather of Tyler, Avery and Kylie Miller, Blake Poleon, Benjamin, Maylee and Emma Poleon. Brother of the late Andrew, Robert, Patrick, William, Michael and Edward Poleon. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends invited to attend a Celebration of Life at St. Mark Episcopal Church, Corner of Payne Avenue and Tremont Streets on October 2, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private at Acacia Park Cemetery.

Gerald was a U.S. Army Veteran where he was a Paratrooper. He was a member of the Honor Flight to Washington, D.C. Gerald retired from General Motors Powertrain where he was the General Superintendent. He and his wife Marcia enjoyed traveling and cruising round the world. He enjoyed his summers in Muskoka, Ontario spending time with his family and fishing.
