Gerard W. Cote

Gerard Wilfred Cote, 90, of North Tonawanda died peacefully on November 11, 2022. Son of the late Adrien and Therese Cote. Loving husband of 64 years of Ann (nee Wacienga) Cote. Dear father of Walter (Kerry) Cote, Paul (Christine) Cote, Michael Cote, Janine (Douglas) Beckett, Andrea (Robert) Ellis, Miranda (Clariese) Cote, Nicole Tomsen (Scott Lehman) and Kathleen Cote. Brother of the late Alice DeGone, Noella Rossow, Lionel Cote and Albert Cote. Also survived by eight grandchildren and three step-grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends received by the family on Tuesday November 15, 2022 from 4-8 P.M. at the Brunner Funeral Home, 156 Robinson St., North Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday morning at 10:00 at St. Jude the Apostle. Interment, with Military Honors will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Jerry was a Korean Conflict Army Veteran. He retired from Durez Plastics after 31 years and the Tops Markets Bakery after 7 years of service. A devoted Catholic, he was a member of Ascension Parish, St. Jude the Apostle and past president of the Ascension Holy Name Society. Jerry was also former Cub Scout Leader of Pack 582. He loved his family, country music and playing his guitar.
