Mary Ellen Karre

Mary Ellen Karre, 79 of North Tonawanda died March 2nd, after a long illness. Daughter of the late William and Helen Karre. Loving mother of Timothy. Sister of the late Richard Karre and niece of the late Dorothy Lorraine Miller. Mary was a 1964 graduate of North Tonawanda High School. And graduated from the State University College at Buffalo in 1968.

In her career, Mary worked at Twin Fair, Century Wholesale, Mullen Elementary School, House of Fabrics, and 3M Ocello. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, playing the piano, and going out to eat and shop with family and friends. She was known for always being helpful and having a tip or trick to offer for everything. She especially liked spending time with her dog and the family dogs.

THERE WILL BE NO IN LIEU OF FLOWERS…Mary loved flowers, surround her in flowers.

Friends received by the family on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at the Brunner Funeral Home, 156 Robinson St. North Tonawanda where services will be held at 4:00. Please bring a story to share about Mary.

Interment will be private at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
