Michael Montesanti

Michael Montesanti, 62, of North Tonawanda. Son of the late Rudy and Virginia (nee Marzec) Montesanti. Dear brother of Kathleen (Richard) Ciesielski, Susan (Marty) Gutowski and Randal (Beth) Montesanti. Dear father of Joleine Anderson. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Michael was a proud self-employed contractor whose skilled craftsmanship in concrete, masonry, and paving earned him a well-deserved reputation for quality work. As much as he loved his trade, he lived life just as fully outside of it. A true lover of music, he could often be found soaking in the energy of a live concert, bringing the same infectious enthusiasm that made him the life of every party. His adventurous spirit carried him across open roads on his motorcycle, along scenic paths while jogging and rollerblading, and out onto the waters of the Niagara River on a jet ski. A life long Scooby-Doo fan, he brought the same light-hearted charm to everything he did - and when anyone needed a nudge to take a leap, his answer was always a grinning "We'll Scooby-Doo it!" He embraced every moment with joy and vitality, and his zest for life touched everyone fortunate enough to know him.
