Patricia M. Hensel

Patricia M. Hensel, (nee Davignon) 92, North Tonawanda past peacefully on August 23, 2025 under the care of Niagara Hospice. Loving mother of Mary Sheila (Joseph) Neddy, Sandra the late Douglas) Hoellig, Richard (Susan) Hensel, Francis Hensel, Mark Hensel and Eileen Hensel. Grandmother of Harley (Jennifer) and Jason Hankinson, Jillian Fox, Peter (Felicia) Hoellig, Elizabeth Hensel, David (Michelle Zajac) Hensel, Rebecca Hensel and Amber Hensel and the late Aaron Hoellig. Great-grandmother of Brandon, Caspian, Zachary, Warren and Bella. Dear sister of the late Helianna Rohrdanz, Beatrice Dawes, Alice Litzenberger, Francis Davignon, Jeannette Conlan. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends received by the family on Thursday 5-8 p.m. at the Brunner Funeral Home, 156 Robinson St. North Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday morning at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish, Oliver at Center Streets in North Tonawanda. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Patricia was a Registered Nurse and retired from DeGraff Memorial Hospital. Pat was an Advocate for the learning-disabled children in North Tonawanda. She was instrumental in establishing Special Education programs with the BOCES Programs in North Tonawanda. She was a dedicated professional and served the community for close to 50 years. She was Sargeant with the Niagara County Auxiliary Police. In her younger years, Pat was an avid hunter, shooter and fisherman and was involved with the North Tonawanda Little League. She was a great mother and even a better grandmother. She will be missed.
