Ruth Ann DiVirgilio

Ruth Ann DiVirgilio, 92, (nee Brodfuehrer) of North Tonawanda died on March 17, 2026. Daughter of the late Elmer and Irene Brodfuehrer. Wife of the late A. Vincent DiVirgilio. Loving mother of Joseph DiVirgilio, John (Jane) DiVirgilio, James (Debra) DiVirgilio, Jeffrey (Cheryl) DiVirgilio, Jerome DiVirgilio, Jason DiVirgilio and Julie (Thomas) Schihl. Proud grandmother of 17 and the late Aurelia DiVirgilio, and 12 great-grandchildren. Sister of the late Helen Burngasser, Richard Brodfuehrer, Raymond Brodfuehrer, James Brodfuehrer, Sr. Roselle Brodfuehrer, Doris Jones and Charles Brodfuehrer. Sister-in-law of Angeline (the late Joseph) Bernas, Jackie Brodfuehrer, Diane Brodfuehrer and Donald (Lori) DiVirgilio and the late Mary and Lucy DiVirgilio. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends received by the family on Sunday, March 22, 2026 from 3-7 p.m. at the Brunner Funeral Home, 156 Robinson St. North Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday morning at 9:30 from Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish, 55 Center Street, North Tonawanda. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
