Shirley Tamburlin

 

Shirley M. Tamburlin (nee Cooper), age 84, of North Tonawanda died peacefully at home, surrounded by family, October 2, 2023, under the care of Niagara Hospice. Shirley was a Eucharistic Minister and member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish and the former Ascension R.C. Church. She retired from the North Tonawanda School District where she worked in the high school cafeteria. Shirley enjoyed baking, gardening and spending time with her family. She also loved her word search puzzles, mystery novels and caring for the numerous stray cats in the neighborhood. Daughter of the late Frank and Marion Cooper.

 

Beloved wife of the late Thomas C. Tamburlin, loving mother of Pamela (Mark) Harvey, Ronald (Christine) Tamburlin, the late Carl Tamburlin, Maria (Jamie) Dosher and Cecelia Tamburlin. Proud Grandmother of Andrew (Kim) Harvey, Amy Harvey, Jenna Harvey, Daniel Tamburlin and Mackenzie Dosher. Great-Grandmother of Joseph, Thomas and Michael Harvey.

 

Friends received by the family on Friday, October 6, from 4 P.M. - 8 P.M. at Brunner Funeral home, 156 Robinson Street, North Tonawanda where services will be held on Saturday morning at 10:00.  Interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery will follow. 

 

The family asks that memorials be made to The Ghostllight Theatre, Niagara Hospice or your favorite animal charity.
